AchieveWorks Professional Development Program Frequently Asked Questions

AchieveWorks Professional Development Program Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the AchieveWorks Professional Development Program and the Human eSources Continuing Education Program?
Both programs provide background on the theories used by Human eSources and its assessments. Here are the differences:

The Human eSources Continuing Education Program has self-paced online content: reading, videos, activities, and ready-to-use guides as take-aways. It also has a dedicated facilitator who leads Q+A session discussions, provides feedback on assignments, and verifies successful completion of the entire program, including scored tests to ensure understanding of each topic before learners receive a certificate of completion. This allows the Continuing Education program to qualify for credit hours with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). This program goes into depth with each assessment and discusses best practice for a variety of situations. The program includes 20 hours of course material, broken up over 6 weeks.

The AchieveWorks Professional Development Program has no live instructor component. It is only self-paced content: reading, video, activities and ready-to-use guides as take-aways. While covering many of the same topics, it goes into less depth than the CE program. This program focuses on getting professionals started with effective use of the assessments. The program includes approximately 8 hours of course material.

What are the modules about?
Each assessment module covers a specific assessment and its related theory – personality, multiple intelligences and emotional intelligence, learning and productivity preferences, and employability skills; the introductory module covers the broad topic of self-assessment and career assessment.
Who is this program for?
The modules are designed to prepare professionals to administer Human eSources assessments. This applies to professionals such as educators, counselors, managers or other supervisory personnel who help individuals take the assessments and interpret their results.
How are the modules structured?
The program is comprised of 5 interactive learning modules. Each assessment module includes self-study work and a related recorded presentation. Coursework takes place online using our proprietary platform that delivers a highly interactive, engaging experience. Content includes self-administered assessments, related reading and information, interactive journaling, quizzes and pre-recorded presentations. Participants should plan to dedicate 2 hours or less per module to complete.
How do I access the course?
All course content is delivered via the Internet. You will be provided access code information upon completion of enrollment in the course. You will be able to access course information 24x7 and can revisit course material at any time during or after the course.
