Over 30 years ago, Rita and Kenneth Dunn constructed a first-generation instrument called The Learning Style
Questionnaire. Their colleague at St. John’s University in New York, Gary E. Price, became interested in the
learning style instrument and conducted a content analysis of the questionnaire to isolate the factors that achieved
the greatest consistency. It is from this work that TruTalent Learning & Productivity and AchieveWORKS
Learning & Productivity, for students from 3rd grade to college, was born.
