Troubleshooting for Microsoft Edge

If you are experiencing issues with accessing your assessment or online textbook via Microsoft Edge, you can follow the steps below to troubleshoot.
  1. Your first step should be to clear your browser cache. You can do that by following the instructions here. Once the cache has been cleared, you may need to relaunch your browser. 
  2. Next, make sure that your browser is up to date.
    1. You can check for updates by clicking the three dots in the top right corner and selecting Help and Feedback:

    2. In Help and Feedback, select the option for About Microsoft Edge. If there is an update available, your browser should automatically start to update. Once the update is complete, relaunch your browser.
  3. Once you have confirmed that your browser is up to date, you should next ensure that your third party cookies are enabled.
    1. Open the page that requires third party cookies.
    2. Select the Settings and More Menu (3 dots in the top right corner of the browser) and then Settings.
    3. Go to Cookies and site permissions, then Manage and delete cookies and site data.
    4. Turn off Block third-party cookies.
    5. Close and reopen Edge and you should now be able to access the content
  4. Ad blockers and other browser extensions can interfere with the use of our products. If you are having difficulty using our products and have followed the steps above, please disable these.
