Troubleshooting for Safari

Troubleshooting for Safari

If you are experiencing issues with accessing your assessment or online textbook via Safari, you can follow the steps below to troubleshoot.
  1. Your first step should be to clear your browser cache. You can do that by following the instructions here if you are using a Mac, or here if using an iPhone or iPad. Once the cache has been cleared, you may need to relaunch your browser.
  2. Next, make sure that your browser is up to date. You can update Safari by updating MacOS or iOS to the latest version.
  3. Once you have confirmed that your browser is up to date, you should next ensure that your third party cookies are enabled. You can do so by following the instructions here.
  4. Ad blockers and other browser extensions can interfere with the use of our products. If you are having difficulty using our products and have followed the steps above, please disable these.
Versions of Safari and embedded browsers on MacOS and all browsers on iOS may not work correctly due to cookie restrictions. Try using a different browser (Chrome or Firefox) if Safari isn't working.
