My access key isn’t working

Sometimes you may receive an error message when attempting to enter an access key. Generally, your course of action will depend on what exactly the error message is.


If you receive an error that says your code is invalid or has already been redeemed, you should contact CustomerCare at customercare@humanesources.com or via Live Chat at support.humanesources.com with the code you are trying to redeem as well as the name of your school or institution. This error likely means that you have an incorrect code that needs to be replaced. 

If you receive an error that says your code should be used in Canvas, you should follow these instructions in order to access your textbook through your Canvas course: Student Guide to Using Online Textbooks in CanvasWhy is my access key telling me to redeem it in Canvas?

If you receive an error that a CSRF attack has been detected, you should close the window and reopen it. If this does not resolve the error, try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. Why am I getting a CSRF error?
